https://www.ssc.nic.in,F. No. PPI01/12/2023-PP_1: The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an opencompetitive examination for recruitment to the posts of Constablehttp://www.crpf.gov.in. (General Duty) inBorder Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles(AR) and Sepoy in NIA (National Investigation Agency) as per the Recruitment Schemeformulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission. The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Medical Examination and Document Verification. The salient features of the recruitment are as under:1.1 The Examination will be advertised by SSC based on vacancies intimated by MHA.Page 1 of 551.2 Applications will be accepted through on-line mode only.1.3 Computer Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted by the Commission only in English and Hindi.1.4 Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Detailed Medical Examination (DME)/ Review Medical Examination (RME) will be scheduled and conducted by the CAPFs.1.5 Collection of required eligibility certificates/ documents from the candidates and their verification will be carried out at the time of Detailed Medical Examination (DME) by the CAPFs.1.6whereas vacancies in all other CAPFs will be filled as per the vacancies available Vacancies of Constable (GD) in SSF and NIA will be filled on All India basisin various States/ UTs. In addition, vacancies are earmarked for the Border Guarding Districts and Militancy/ Naxal affected Districts which are reserved for the candidates of these districts only. 1.7 The list containing names of Border Guarding Districts and Militancy/ Naxal affected areas are available at Annexure-XI and Annexure-XII respectively.1.8 Final results along with force allocation will be declared by the Commission based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Examination and preference of force opted by them subject to their qualifying the Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Medical Examination and other conditions stipulated in the Notice of Examination.1.9 Court cases/ RTI/ Public Grievances relating to Notice of Examination, conduct of Computer Based Examination, preparation of merit list, force allocation of selected candidates and final result will be handled by SSC and issues relating to othermatters namely scheme of examination, vacancies, conduct of PET/ PST, DME/RME, Document Verification etc. will be handled by coordinating CAPFs.1.10 Admit Card for any stage of examination will not be sent by Post. Facility for download of Admit Cards will be provided at the websites of Regional Offices of the Commission as well as on the website of CRPF i.e. http://www.crpf.gov.in. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the websites of the Commission i.e. https://www.ssc.nic.in, Regional Office concerned and the Nodal CAPF i.e. CRPF for the updates on examination process and download of Admit Cards for each stage of examination.
